In today's video, I’ll be taking you through the detailed process of whittling a beautiful little oak sapling, complete with tiny leaves and an acorn. We'll start with a simple, rustic block of wood, and I'll be using almost exclusively a single whittling knife.

A quick tip: if you plan to try carving a similar nature piece yourself, I highly recommend bringing a little extra patience! There are quite a few tiny, delicate details that can easily snap off while you're carving, so take your time with it.

This nature-inspired piece is one of my absolute favorite projects because of its elegant, flowing curves and intricate details. Even though the final result looks quite fragile, the actual process of bringing it to life is incredibly peaceful and rewarding.
