Please bring it back so we can see papaya king missing allegiance <3

The first couple years of lor was so golden. So much potential, great artwork, and pvp.

Legends of Runeterra was such a phase in my life. One moment it was all I could talk about, knowing every card every mechanic every meta deck.
Then suddenly, I left it behind without looking back.
I wish them luck.

How i missed those days watching grappLr Lor videos every lunch break..

Take me back to the days where I watch you and Mogwai's LoR content daily 😭

I love how YouTube instantly fed me your LoR video after a big while of not watching your channel
Guess YouTube wants me back here

I understand their business decisions in the past. Just kinda sad about everything.
LoR has done soo much for all of us

I think an important note is that hardcore PvP is almost never as popular as the casual game form.

However, PvP is an important aspect to maintaining casual play because it creates a larger community through creators, tournaments, and other venues.

Often times when you delete whole communities games tend to die out.

It's so sad that having a fair monetization where you don't exploit your players for thousands of dollars just to build 1 simple deck is seen as failure just because the other CCG release with such predatory gacha mechanics that make stupid amounts of money...

I miss this game so much. LoR's early days were the most fun I've ever had with a card game, period. It ruined the rest of the genre for me because no other game comes close to hitting the same spots as LoR did.

Legends of runettera release was golden era. I was enjoying playing deep deck so much. Hope they bring lor pvp back

"I was there when it was written" moment

I miss old lor and old man grapplr, watching this man missing allegiance, Hysterically laughing playing teemo and being a papaya will always be special to me

When i lost all my cards in rotation LoR died for me

The thing i miss about LOR, is that they give opportunity of story telling with the card. Eversince LOR stop making new card, the lore gone dry, maybe in part its because the new way they want to tell story as a whole was changed. But regardless of riftbound or LOR, i just want the card game name of  L O R be the representitive of league lore. Since the aspect of the game of me being able to play a lore accurate deck, or being able to listen to voice line of interaction between dfferent champ was fun.

gotta say the playerbase IS growing. i've been playing for a few years now and just recently a bunch of my friends started talking about the game and how they tried it out and loved it. it's the perfect game to play if u have a busy lifestyle like having a kid

man i truly miss lor pvp from the bottom of my heart
it deserved better

Really miss the old days enjoy playing/watching LoR :eyes-purple-crying:

It hurts me bad. I still play LoR pvp during my bus rides to and from work. PoC is still to this day a "turn brain off and grind" despite all the updates theyve done to it. The deckbuilding for my opponents is stale, but the building is the best part.for me :(  i wish theyd add even like 2-3 cards at this point lol.

I think people should pay money to enter tournaments for cash-prizes, monthly. With those raised money, winners win, RIOT takes a part of it and invests in the game. This is how competitive PVP should work. This is only one method to bring the game back.

Agree w your point on players trying out new things too fast on expansions. Ive engaged with pve far longer(even with small updates) than pvp expansions and it hit me again that i prob could've experience competitive pvp longer if it wasn't too f2p. Ive moved on from pvp & will never expect it to comeback for the next 5 years or ever

Glad you made a vid on this, it pleases me that you still care & the passion you showed playing lor during its pvp era was genuine 🕊️
