Today, I have prepared a video titled "Taiwan Shopping List" that I would like to recommend to those traveling to Taipei, Taiwan.

I have introduced a variety of items, from the street vendors of Ximending—a must-visit shopping spot in Taiwan—to products available not only at Carrefour but also at MUJI Taiwan branches. I hope you enjoy watching! 😊

1. Beitai 🥤

: Beitai, a daily essential for Taiwanese people! Taiwan is a country where consuming beverages, including water, on public transportation such as subways is prohibited. This is exactly when you need a portable cup holder called a "Beitai." You can't give up on taking milk tea out in Taiwan, the land of milk tea, right? It can be awkward whenever you have to take the subway while drinking milk tea. But if you slip it into a Beitai and hang it on your wrist, you can ride the subway with both hands free! 👍🏻

Beitai come in a wide variety of designs, and there are many innovative products that can be simply folded and attached like a keyring, so pick one that suits your taste!

2. MUJI Kaoliang Liquor Chocolate

: A must-have souvenir for alcohol lovers traveling to Taiwan! There is a special chocolate sold only at MUJI Taiwan: the "Kaoliang Liquor Chocolate," which contains Kaoliang liquor liqueur. A box of these luxurious four chocolates costs around 5,500 to 6,500 won. It’s definitely not cheap for a Muji product, is it?💸

Still, it’s a great item to surprise your alcohol-loving friends with, so be sure to buy it at least once. I shared it with friends at a drinking party, and everyone seemed to enjoy the sweet yet strong alcoholic taste😎

3. Bonita Nougat Crackers & Sulcubing🍪

: There are so many brands famous for nougat crackers in Taipei, but for some reason, I didn't want to go to places that were so famous that there was a long wait😓 'Waiting an hour for an open run on a trip where every minute counts!' It felt like such a waste of time.

So, Ally found a real hidden gem! It’s not a franchise with many branches, but it’s located in Ximending, making it easily accessible. I found a hidden gem that tastes great and even comes with pretty packaging.

It’s a brand called Bonita.

You can sample all the products in-store, and I liked it even more because it didn't taste like mass-produced factory goods! Since it’s located in Ximending, I highly recommend stopping by at least once! They do a beautiful job with gift wrapping, so I especially recommend buying them as gifts for friends and family!
