I hope rs4 is third person and makes it way to console as the amount of player on console this will be the biggest MMO in history if they do this correctly

They can definitely increase the mount speed..there is basically no difference between sprinting and using a mount

Tbh. I think this is a good thing. Biomes are way to small for an mmo anyway

RuneScape DW makes me want to go back to the mainland and just live there. RS 4 should have been a DW expansion or a second DW where we go back home and start adventuring all open world rpg like with DW mechanics.

We were play testing RuneScape 4 so they could get there base gameplay right

Cant have a player economy in a game where there are boosting servers that literally allow you to go in and get anything you want.

An update so good it's going to become its own game. Insane. I think that RSDW will be good for a smaller group of people to play together and then RS4 will be absolutely amazing alongside the IP

Gear needs to have value if they want to add trading.

this is what I've been waiting for, god I hope we dont have to wait 10 years for this

Oh so this is not happening... bit sad but I think its the right move. It would shift away too much from what this game is, makes more sense for them to take that direction an build something else around it. Dragonwild-esk mmo would be sick, I would absolutely play it.

Keeping this singleplayer gives them a unique type of way to explore the runescape universe, it gives the IP an alternative for those not wanting to play a super grindy mmo (yes this game is grindy, but nowhere near as much).

They will deliver this all with RS4. I think Dragonswild was a test run.

What was comming in yhe shadow update im new to DW? Is the blood saga still happening?

I only have 2 things to bitch about this game. And that is, it takes entirely too damn long to switch between weapons or if you have to, for instance, in fell hollow, when you have to hit the green tower, things to remove the ghost effect on you.  It takes like 1 to 2 seconds to activate.I can't tell you how many times I've died in this game.Trying to switch weapons and it taking a second and a 11/2- 2 seconds to do it , it drives me absolutely nuts.
And secondly  Having to hit escape to back out of any menu on PC. I play with a Taurus orbit Weaver and a lot to text thumbball mouse, laying back in my recliner, I don't have my keyboard on my lap or on a desk in front of me, why the hell can't they just make it to where whatever button you hit to go Into the menu you tap it again to go out of the menu.

That would have been a cool update for dragonwilds but i think they made the right choice

That's sad. I really love this game, I was hoping they increase the player count to 8. This game just came out, this has plenty of potential to cancel content so early just sux.

Its hilarious this was announced. Me and my cousin were joking what if after you beat dragonwilds. It installs and launches runescape 4. And dragonwilds was tutorial island for it Made this joke the day before runefest reveals

Well, if Dragonwilds continue to receive content, I don't really care if they don't do shadow of ashenfall ! I just hope they'll add more skills, spells, runes, lands to explore and new mounts.
I hope they won't give up on Dragonwilds to develop Runescape 4. I don't care about the MMO but Dragonwilds is amazing.

There literally just going to make everyone abandon dragonwilds lol. Feels like dying light 2 all over again

He said massive, implying Mmorpg also

Probably maxers the ones crying lmao, it has no effect on them, reglignited is only gonna be an interest to new players
