No police were interested in the recovery of the motorbike. To busy look for hate speakers online.

And no police were injured in the making of this video.

What a beautiful motorcycle, glad it's home again.

Makes you feel proud of being part of the biking community. Well done guys !

Over forty years ago I left my motorbike in a layby for over 12 hours when the fuel line failed late at night on a rural main road , it was still parked up with it's simple steering lock and no immobiliser when I returned the next day with fuel and a new part . I doubt that you could do the same thing today without it disappearing . The bloody country's gone to the dogs .

Police know exactly who stole my friends bike which I recovered .. yet they do nothing even though I had it all recorded .. shameful really how lenient the justice system is towards bike thieves

Its great when people look out for each other l wasnt so lucky

Your lucky,  my gsxr was stolen in December,  I'd owned it for 20 years, I put it all over the net,   insurance paid out in the January,  In February get a call from a police salvage yard asking me to collect my bike and pay storage, I went to see it and it was perfect,  not a mark,  I informed my insurance as I'd been paid out,  they thanked me but refused to sell it back to me even I'd owned it 20 years!  I got a bike magazine involved,  Practical sports bike,  within 2 days I was allowed to buy it back.  By the time the insurance company's salvage people delivered it they had stolen the bodywork ( Hills salvage skelmersdale for the record)  after a lot of messing I got all the parts back,  all damaged and scratched,  it turned out that the police had found the bike 2 mins from my house a few days after it was stolen,  they didn't inform me or my insurance company though!  Idiots.

So pleased you got your bike back, made my day!

What a wonderful community! Thank you to all those involved!!

Awesome!  These people don’t care that other people have to work and save to own what they have hopefully some day they will have something near and dear to them stolen then they will know how that feels it’s more than just losing a material thing it affects you in many different areas!

Seeing your video , I went out and locked my Africa Twin. got the SAME ONE. I do have an alarm and tracker on it though.

Fantastic news that you got it bake and a testament to the biking community that they tracked it down and got it back for you.

I live in a London flat with on street parking. I yearn for a motorcycle but I can't afford it to be stolen. Life feels like captivity with this menacing bike thieves. I'll probably afford one when I'm old with a detached house. Life sucks.

I once felt your pain to... I woke up on my 16th birthday only to find out that someone had broken into my garage at about 1am and stole 3 of my dirt bikes. They stole my 2003 rm85 motocross bike, my little brothers 2008 pw50, and a costomers 1995 cr125. It was by far the worst thing thats ever happened to me but luckily with the help of all my friends and family and not a single doubt that i wouldn't get my bike back i found it the next day. The thief's where so stupid that they posted a picture on face book showing off my 2 bikes this was later reported to my cousin who is a police officer. I was able to find out that the house the picture was taken at was only 2 blocks away. Later that morning there was a search warrant issued and i got all 3 of my bikes back. Its really fucked up having a motorcycle stolen and i hope no one has to go through what i did.

A wonderful description of how you feel at the time . A lot of desperation out there for people to hit someone where it hurts the most . A 10 year sentence might defer . Very costly experience a lot of the time 🙌🙏💙☕️

I will say my partner had her car stolen outside the house they used a black box to gain entry of the vehicle and to start the vehicle up posted it all over social media and nobody came forward that is really disappointing

I am glad you were able to have the Africa Twin back

I am not a bike person really but whilst living in Greece for years in the 90's I had one of these. From never riding a bike before,  to starting off on a moped, I then went to TS50 geared bike, to a Yamaha  XT  250 and then to an Africa twin all in the space of less than a month  Just cruising the hills, mountains and coast of Rhodes Island, Greece on one of these. When I came back to England after a few years I never looked at a bike again. Lol. Happy you got it back.  A wonderful ride.

Excellent news, happy you got it  back.
