bulwark was always a really strong card imo, very good 2 cost 13 block that also just hands you a free "finisher" card to sit in your hand. Act 1 on this character felt the worst given how so much of his block demanded stars, so 13 block plus forge 10 feels like obscenely high value for hin.

Bulwark was always good.

lol ... "Forge is good now" "stars got nerfed so you can play other things now"
still end up with star deck xD

24:35 Screaming at the screen like a Dad watching football rn

Crescent spear has felt really good from what I played of it. Like a better perfected strike since the cards you get are consistently better.

It was kind of crazy to me how hard regent seemed until I learned you just get like 2 glows a small deck and any payoff or minion cards to deck thin for infinite. It’s fun for a bit but soo many of his other cards were just way worse than the card advantage stars could give

Permafrost probably didnt feel that good when using a high cost start up power (echo, void form) when orichalcum would also provide that same 6 block.  now perma is technically better that it for that 1 turn.

IMO they need to remove the Dazed from the Skulking Colony or at least reduce it to something more reasonable like 2 or 3. The fight is already hard capped at a minimum amount of time you're stuck fighting it, they don't need to also fuck over every one of your draws so you don't get any block to survive turns when he's gonna hit you hard.

I think the Numble enchant is extremely strong if you got Glitterstream beforehand, since it's gonna apply twice. If you upgrade it's just a nutty 2 turn block card.

46:50 i really like Mayhem with Pale Plue Dot and/or topdeck stuff. Great colorless card for Regent.

When you think about it, yes upgrade Strike+Defend is boring. But it allows you to take the cooler cards way earlier, instead of having to take some cards that you need to survive that can make your late game deck more clunky.

I always loved forging
The big chunks always felt very satisfying

34:00 is there any merit in taking Make it so after the act 2 boss to proc pale blue dot more often?

Will their be an updated list or strat posed for defect to learn

Does decisions decisions also include the star cost now??

Bulwark didn't even get buffed lmao it's just goated

53:05 lowkey disappointed he didnt say "guards of the gods"

I was totally right when I said people didn't know how to play Regent. Bulwark not being S tier was crazy work. Every "Forge X" keyword is damage dealt later, it's like a reverse Doom but BETTER because you can trigger it on command. You are right in saying Doom is a nice to have but not a full game plan to dedicate to, and so is forge.

what is that neow's talisman at the start? I have played the game for 50 hours now and never in my life get to offered that option. I don't even see it in patch note btw

Is this not the exact deck you would have built pre patch?

but what's your favorite guitar solo:face-purple-crying:
