From the depths full movies is a series, i wish to see continued in the future.

I would love to see either a full "mothership" style run or a melee craft in the next adventure mode run, land or sea.

It would be SUPER cool to see a tank-city design, mortal engines style, in an adventure mode.

I appreciate the after-action line up of the versions of the craft, shows the progression extremely well. Such a sudden end though, the player never expects to be hit with "A.I. dead" despite causing it in so many other craft.

from the depths is a series we wish to see continued in the future!!!

as someone who absolutely abhors the shift towards extremely shortform content, thank you for continuing to produce hour+ long videos - it is so much nicer to sit down with something for 10, 20, 30+ minutes at a time and not have to scramble to the next clip every 5 seconds
keep up the good work c:

Do you know what would make the adventure mode on land much better? Decorations like grasses, trees and bushes. It would be so cool if the game world in general looked much nicer, including the sea. You could have algae or rocks at the bottom of the sea. Would be really cool if the devs would add that sooner or later.

23:00 man builds a modern-design tank and is surprised it’s insanely effective.

Lmao love this channel

Ftd is a series I would love to see more of in the future!

I love that that one vehicle was called the “Hexer” because it is almost identical to the “Hetzer” tank destroyer from World War II

From the Depths is a series I would like to see continued in the future.

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,829, Time 1950:
Night falls fast upon this cursed wasteland, like a kettle of vultures that spotted carrion. The quick drop in temperature causes our armour to creak, as the metal shrinks. It sends a shiver through my spine, or is it the fear of what's to come? For days we have been on the hunt now. The temperature gauges of our engines are constantly in the red, as we try to catch up. The rattling of the tracks are concerning but we have no time for maintenance.
As we pass the remnants of recent battles, machinery and bones are getting crushed beneath our heavy metal, turning into the very sands of this desert. According to the ancient log books of my predecessors, this world was once of immense strategic value in a war of many factions. I don't even know if they still exist.
Generations later the planet's resources are depleted. Its surface desolated. Only this desert of bones and rust remains. Only the war remains. The reason for its cause are unknown to me, but now the descendants of the old armies fight for the scarce and dwindling materials.
Command has been getting reports of a new threat destabilizing firmly established frontlines. We were tasked to search and destroy the unidentified vessel immediately and at all costs.

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,831, Time 0938:
We lost contact with our scouts. I can see smoke on the horizon. We are getting close.

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,831, Time 1321:
Mission success. The target tank was spotted as it was fighting an enemy Rhino. Although the Rhino is a fearsome and formidable tank, it stood no chance against the unidentified behemoth with its fast firing, high capacity, armour piercing railgun. Using the Rhino as diversion we neutralized one of the target's escort, a smaller tank of similar making to the main threat. Unfortunately the heavy armour of the Rhino didn't give us the time we hoped. Before we could destroy the second and last escort, our foe engaged us. I noticed to my astonishment, that the enemy's main armament couldn't match our effective range. Using this tactical advantage I ordered the engines to be put in reverse. With the enemy now facing us and our sights calibrated, it became apparent that the target sustained more damage from the Rhino than we initially thought. We opened fire and after just a few shells the enemy stopped in its tracks and ceased all function. The unidentified vessel didn't seem to be critically damaged. Cautious of the obvious trap we kept firing until we noticed that the second escort didn't move either.
At the moment our engineers are analysing the enemy and the damage we sustained.

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,831, Time 1455:
Although the encounter was short the terror we felt is still tangible. Our Scarab is still operational. The armour deflected most of the enemy's shells, which lost a lot of their power over the long range. But the shells that did pierce our plating had a devastating effect on their immediate vicinity.
The preliminary report of the investigating engineers opens more questions than it answers. The unidentified enemy had the appearances of a tank and, according to the data on the onboard computers, had the designation 'JaffaTank 4'. But the design is most peculiar. More so the engineers are not sure it was designed at all. It rather seems the machine was in a constant stage of transformation. As if it was... evolving. At a rapid pace at that.
Even more disturbing is that we couldn't find traces of any lifeforms in the behemoth. Only a mannequin on the outside with the engraved name 'Larry'.
The engineers are still examining the utterly destroyed front of the wreckage

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,832, Time 0018:
We are on our way back to base.
It was worth it to search the debris thoroughly. The engineer Trankow found the remains of a humanoid mechanical device that doesn't match the rest of the tank's design. Its function is as of yet unclear to the engineers. We stored it together with samples of the 'JaffaTank 4' in a secure container for further analysis.
Engineer Relyah has a theory. What if this machine was a sentient and independently operating AI controlling and building the behemoth? It would explain the lack of a crew and the rather rudimentary AI installed in the tank as well as the transformative nature of the vessel. According to her theory we would have been doomed, if that AI has had any more time or resources to evolve. But who would have build that AI? Its technology is nothing we have ever seen! Understanding it might give us the advantage over the other warring factions and finally bring peace to this forsaken graveyard of a planet. We will know more when we reach HQ.

Commander's Log of the Scarab, call sign Tau Iota 6472, mission bigfoot, Day 53,832, Time 0436:
I can't find sleep. Nor can I stop thinking about our findings in the wreckage. This strange artefact. That autonomous AI. What if... What if no one built it? What if it assembled itself? In a scrapyard or the wrecks of a recent battle? It would have been born out of rage, death and destruction and incorporated all the blood and suffering into itself. An embodiment of this cursed wasteland, of this forsaken graveyard, of this ancient conflict. It would only know wrath and war.
And annihilation.
I am loosing my nerves. I will check the cargo. I can't sleep anyway.

[These are the final entries of a log book found in a black box between the wreckage of a Scarab tank. It appears the tank was devoured from the inside.]

Happy to see you back on ftd! 😀
Enjoying the long start to finish adventures

It should have been “From the Depths without the depths”.

FTD Land Adventure mode? This is awesome! Have been awaiting this moment for so long. Thank you Lathrix for taking the risk and refreshing my desire to play the game.

40:00 Do it... Do it now :D

The nosedive of that first actual plane was glorious.

I'm loving the land version of FTD just as much as the water version.
From the Depths is a series we wish to see continued in the future!!! (both land and water)

Lathrix is on a roll with these! I love it. There is something that is so satisfying about a vehicle slowly getting build and rebuild, bit by bit. Without having to do any of the work or learn from the depths :D

"Yeah, It's a tank innit!" 22:13
