DISCLAIMER: I'm not a pro at these games, I just think I'm slightly above average. Don't roast my footage too hard... Or do, I need the comment engagement. Just please be nice~

Shoutouts once again to Digimewz for the thumbnail art that looks borderline official! Check them out, they're new and amazing already :)

Puyo Puyo went from a series I could only appreciate from and aesthetics and sound design perspective, into one of my favorite Sega franchises that I'm hopelessly addicted to. I fought every fiber in my being to not get a bunch of extra footage for this video, so before I can no longer resist the urge to clock in more hours, let's rank every mainline entry in the best puzzle game series ever!

My favourite hobby: being a fan of franchises that are completely dead

Puyo Puyo is like a drug that I constantly relapse and end up going back to 10/10 series!

You know, maybe watching this video will make me understand Puyo Puyo a bit more. It looks fun but I've sucked at every iteration of it I've tried, maybe seeing all the games in action here will make something click-

"Puyo Puyo is a fighting game"

Oh. That uh
that explains a lot.

Great video Zaffre :D

Ringo is the goat.

About that MOST of those games never left Japan including the Tetris version.

And seriously, all I wanted was a Puyo Puyo action-JRPG (similar to a open-world Pokémon game but NOT Quest) with infinite replayability (lot of post-game content)

I die for Puyo Puyo YT Content

This is encouraging me to actively seek a Puyo-Puyo community, I've always quietly enjoyed PPT2 as a time killer and recently been trying to get good, and now I'm at a level where I wanna face real and passionate peoplee >:3

Good ranking!👍
Personally, Puyo Puyo Sun is definitely my favorite of them all, and I agree with what you're saying!!
It has a great design, great gameplay, and I love the animations!
Great video💚

Not gonna lie, i love Puyo Puyo, even if i wasn't skilled on this franchise. Actually i'm not even here for the gameplay, Im here for the cutscenes. admittedly i liked the Fever artstyle, even if it's a bit low budget.

Hype this video because Puyo Puyo is peak fiction.

-Puyon in last
-Ends the video with a puyon song
(Jk ik you said the ost itself was a favorite, great video!)

I will admit, I actually got into Puyo Puyo thanks to Puyo Puyo Tetris 1 & 2. Admittedly, I am still learning how to do proper chains, but it’s been fun! Also, being a Tetris player before Puyo Puyo Tetris is what lead me to Puyo Puyo Tetris in the first place, so even if it isn’t the best game on this list, I am just happy to join in on the fun!

COVERING PUYO AND FIRE EMBLEM AYYY

@jrm1007-1 10 months ago

Having played almost every game here, I can say without a doubt.

7's Mini Fever is the most broken mechanic ever introduced

Use it right and it turns the opponents into punching bags.

That thumbnail is crazy. I want to SAVE Puyo from that demon Arle. But in all seriousness, Puyo isn't the only deep SEGA series. Virtua Fighter is definitely up there.

finally a ranking video with good opinions! while i prefer 15th to 20th and LOVE 7, im so happy you showered fever 2 and sun with praise! honestly i am busy playing puyo puyo quest a lot and replaying these past games gives me deeper appreciation being a fan for so long
