I was there with a girl on a date. The game was unforgettable. The girl–I don't even remember her name.

If Griffey served any purpose that year it was to make that center field throw.

Wow, back when John Dank's was a top 100 prospect in the Texas/White Sox system and had great potential in 2008.
Also, only 3 years removed from a 2005 championship we had a good number of fans during the regular season. Nowadays Sox fans are just fed up. I'm super excited for the rebuild.

I'm watching this video on July 23rd 2023... I cant believe how far this team has fallen from times like this. Jerry has crashed any trust with us fans

I was a student at the Illinois Institute of Technology during this game (it's the college on the other side of the Dan Ryan, so only a few blocks from then US Cellular Field). Anyway, I watched the game on TV and heard Fireworks from Thome's HR a solid 5 seconds before I saw it on TV. It was awesome.

You can actually hear the game audio and the music doesn't suck? What is this???

Loved that team.

i truly believe the white sox could have won it all in 2008

Who watching in 2020 right before we make it back into the playoffs??

2021...will be there to relive it..not a good situation though

i was at the blackout game. best game of my life

The good Ole days

What happened to our crowds? The stadium is a complete ghost town, unless they're playing the Cubs or it is a nice night. It's just sad because no one shows up. It's like everyone is a Cubs fan. Where's all the true white sox fans?😢

Being a white sox fan, it's tough watching the Cubs have so much success. This is the kind of thing we need right now

I was there with my wife and 11 year-old son. They picked the 7th inning to go to the bathroom, leaving me to hold down the fort. I'm so glad I had a better bladder back then.

I was at this game and can definitely say it was one of the loudest crowds of all time. There was so much excitement

Would've been a thrill to give thome and Griffey a ring

13 years later our first playoff home game. Can’t wait for Sunday

I can't believe it took us 12 years to get back to the postseason

What a game!! Amazing Memories! So thankful and grateful to have been there with my loved ones! What an honor! Once in a lifetime! 🙏💪
