Some Korean actors became stars before they were even old enough to understand what fame meant. From award-winning performances as children to unforgettable roles in some of Korea’s biggest dramas and movies, these actors seemed destined for huge adult careers.
But growing up in the spotlight doesn't always mean growing into an equally visible adult career.

My surprise was with Kim Soo-ahn. I was not aware that the young girl in Train to Busan was the teenage girl in Project Silence.
Someone who hasn’t changed over the years is Park Eun-bin. While I only started watching her when she was older, I would be able to pick her out when she was a child. Her features and expressions are the same.
Note: Adding subtitles under the clips from the dramas would make the video better.
- I discovered Kim Hyang-gi in Snowy Road*, where she shone alongside Kim Sae-ron—another child prodigy actress I had been following since *A Brand New Life (rest in peace).
- I’ve been following Kim Su-an since *Train to Busan*; she is very talented and versatile.
- Kim So-hyun is beautiful and extremely talented; I’ve followed her since *The Moon Embracing the Sun*. All her characters are always impressive.
- The first time I saw Yeo Jin-goo was in *A Frozen Flower*; I love his acting—he is a truly brilliant actor.
- Kim Yoo-jung is beautiful and incredibly talented; I love her acting and have followed her since *Legendary Courtesan Hwang Jin Yi*, she was phenomenal in *Dear X*.
- Park Eun-bin is also one of my favorites; I really love her and have loved all her characters since *Dream High*, where I first saw her.
- Kal So-won caught my attention in *Miracle in Cell No. 7*, where she demonstrated the talent she already possessed despite her young age; I’ve followed her ever since.
Everybody had only ONE CHANCE to be a child..
