Thank you so much.  I am getting ready to take my granddaughters locs down, about 200 locs; been in for 8 years.  Gorgeous head of hair she has.  Pray my strength!!!  Again, thanks.

Another suggestion is instead of the floss pick, a double sided flea comb that is typically under $10 at a pet supply store will also do wonders. I’m in my last 10 locs out of 60+ and it worked like a charm on my multi-sized interlocked hair with the right slip, it ate through tangles and really helped me get to the really tiny knots that I might’ve missed. Happy unlocking y’all 🎉😊

I’m using that dollar tree 1.25 VO5 conditioner to detangle and that’s gone be what it is. 😂😂😂 I’ll use Giovanni once it’s unmatted

That was a good idea about putting the locs in a baggie to prep while taking out the others.

you LITERALLY just changed my life with the floss pick tip! i’ve been using thumbtacks, pens, and metal end combs 😩 BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU!!!

Not sure if anyone needs a recommendation but I've been using the Blue Magic Leave In conditioner to comb out mine, It's  definitely helping me speed up the process

Thank you for your video! I watched one just before yours that recommended the cheap conditioner and I was going to do that.

Additionally, I love your real life tips. 🙌🏾 My daughter wants to help me, and I KNOW I don’t have patience which would ruin the experience. I know it is going to be done over weeks. Thanks for your “2-3” a day because 20-25 minutes per loc a day was giving me a “nope not doing it” vibe. 💯

Lastly, just overall inspiring! My oldest son tells me that real life experiences and tips make better videos. He and my husband tell me to record myself in the moment and I don’t listen. But this video right here, spoke to their advice and input. You told us the real about taking out the locs and it was all that! 👏🏾🙌🏾

Started coming mine out a couple days ago and I’m so ready to be done! It’s hard during my work schedule but I’m determined.

Half way done!! Just breaking and getting more inspiration!

Your video was perfect! I’m at peace taking my time to maintain my hair!

Yes!!! Tips were helpful!! I like!!

Loved the tips...especially about the putting the locs into a ziploc bag and investing in a quality conditioner.  I wish I knew about this before I combed out my locs.  Keeping the locs moist was a major issue but I got through it.  I tried using a cheap conditioner in the beginning and wound up having to buy a better brand because there was very little slip..(lesson learned, lol) Great video!

Great tips. I’m excited to get started with the take down process!!!

This was so very helpful to me. I am starting my loc business and want to use my friend as a model. No shade, but the person who initiated his original locs, I want to take them down and restart fresh I also want to know the proper way to maintain and educate my future customers.

This video came right on time I have been making plans to big chop for my birthday in a few months but today out of no where I was able to successfully comb out two locs with little to no issues. Mine you I’ve been locd since 2019 so I thought this process was irreversible. I’ve always thought it was a waste of time to comb locs out until I saw how much length I was able to retain today 😮😮. Literally long as my locs. I know I’ll have to get a good trim but I am rethinking my plans to big chop and comb them out instead. I appreciate your video this did it for me. Thanks for ALL YOUR AMAZING TIPS🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thanks the floss tip is a game changer

All excellent tips! ❤

Thank you!

Thank you so much for this information. I am preparing to take out my locs. I don’t have the energy I’d like to have but the tips that you’re giving, in time, I believe I can get through. Looking forward to another journey

Very informative thanks for sharing
