Crazy to think he become arguably the greatest rapper of all time while treating rap like a side hustle

jayz has one of the most fascinating come-up stories of all time. And it's very rare, when you can take a rapper's lyrics and link it to real life events and historical facts. I mean, you can't get any more realer than that.

This filled in all the gaps in Jay’s story

This is (part of) why Jay is thought to be a part of a dark force; hime dodged both literal and legal bullets multiple times. Either way, Reasonable Doubt is the realest depiction of the dope game that a rapper has never made — as far as mindset, etc. Incredible album.

02:44 that’s why ppl call jeezy, ti, and even ross the jay z of the south. It’s a reason why jay z and nas work with jeezy and rick ross to a high degree. Same music. Different sound.

Jay raps on stage about the 92 bricks line on his B-Sides Part 2 concert a few years ago. So all that is true 💯

"Lost 92 bricks, had to fall back. Knocked a nigga off his feet but I crawled back. Had A1 credit, got more Crack. From the 1st to the 5th gave it all back. If I'm not a hustler what u call that? This is before rap, this is all fact"
