During Lisa's "mentor" section she is speaking Thai. She is actually on a Chinese TV show but Korean is not allowed to be spoken on Chinese TV so she spoke Thai and a translator translated it to the trainees.
If you want to hear Rose’s vocal abilities you should check out her songs “Number One Girl” and “Stay a Little Longer” or better yet check out her whole solo album “Rosie”
1:04:48 The career of Destiny Rogers was hanging by a thread at the time, until LISA inadvertently saved her career by dancing to this song (“Tomboy”), earning Destiny a lot of popularity and fans in the process. Destiny has since met and thanked LISA for what she did, and Destiny still continues to make music to this day.
Rosé's vocals are insane she has such an amazing ability to convey emotion and she's even better live like the studio can't truly capture her. even when she sings in Korean you don't know a translation for Rosé you feel it.
Just FYI, this is how Blackpink was formed. YG auditioned over 10,000 talented teens throughout Asia. These were the best performing teens that had been training for years before auditioning for YG. For example, YG auditioned 4,000 talented teens in Thailand alone, and only Lisa was invited to join the Trainee Program. Lisa had been training in dance since the age of 4, competing at 6, competing on the National circuit at 10, so when she auditioned for YG at age 13 she was already a seasoned dance competitor and champion. Today Lisa is considered the best dancer in all female Kpop. Lisa is also the most popular Kpop Idol in the world (male or female), with over 105 million IG followers. Often YG's few selected trainees were the best performers from their ballet, dance, singing academies and Performing Arts High Schools. And then over 6 years the 30 or 40 of those extremely talented teens underwent a rigorous training program (13 straight days before one day off, 14 to 16 hour days, no dating, no tattoos, eating at company cafeteria, sleeping in company dorm). And eventually one by one was weeded out until YG had the 4 that debuted as Blackpink. They are the best of the best and tough as nails for surviving a cold-hearted brutal trainee program with weekly and monthly solo and group dance/vocal performance evaluations.
+ Jennie writes, compose and produce too (with rap vocal and dance) !! a total ACE. Now she’s a House ambassador of chanel (above global ambassador) and she had a nickname "Human Chanel", The ACE, The global IT girl, The villain Of Kpop… She’s one of the top rapper.
Also, Chanel, YSL, Dior, Celine - these are major luxury fashion brands. They are not fragrance companies. They do have fragrances but they do clothes, bags, shoes, etc. Blackpink’s global ambassadorship usually covers multiple areas of these fashion brands like clothes, bags to perfumes to shoes. Also, Lisa is now a global ambassador of Louis Vuitton, the parent company of Celine.
Those Pre-Debut contents meant they were done before they were announced and debuted as Blackpink. However, those predebut projects were done while they were already training at YG Entertainment to be part of BP. YG typically includes their trainees to various projects of other YG artists just to somewhat tease the people of what’s coming up next from them.
21:51 Because…BLACKPINK have been involved in various gaming promotions over the years, such as PUBG/PUBG Mobile (for 3 consecutive years 2020-2022), KartRider Drift, Roblox, and their very own mobile game BPTG (BLACKPINK: The Game) which was launched in May 2023. They also have their own official Monopoly board game, which was released in 2019.
