Check out this reaction next! https://youtu.be/TOD15QfU3OU

IU is high in Korea and Asia and she just finished her world tour last month. She doesn’t box herself in any genre and constantly comes up with new styles even all her songs in same album are so different. She is one of the best song writer, composer, producer, actress, show hostess, etc!

I'm a BTS fan, so I don't really follow IU, but she has to be the most famous/most beloved female soloist in South Korea and has been for over a decade.  She's also good friends with several BTS members :)

IU and Tae sang together a IU's song called " Ending Scene" on her YouTube channel

I love reactions like this where people give us an actual music breakdown. Its interesting and helps
me appreciate the song more

The director of the video, Um Tae-hwa, is an award winning short and feature film director. This was his first music video.

She is K-Pop living legend

This is such a beautiful song and very moving. IU asked V to act in the MV, which was shot a week before V entered the military. IU is friends with quite a few BTS members. Thanks for the reaction.

Thank you so much for this reaction. Without exaggerating, IU is possibly the most famous soloist in Korea for the last decade. Would you believe that she was also super sick when she recorded Love Wins All? Here's the behind the scenes, if you want to see more of how she uses her voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-hEbBXf4wY
For background, the song was composed by Seo Dong-hwan, one of the members of IU's band, who play with her in her show Palette. The lyrics are by IU. Um Tae-hwa, a well known film director, directed the MV, which explains why it's so cinematic. Tae participated as an actor as he and IU are good friends, you can hear them sing together on Palette: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebu2cxRXU-I The duet is Ending Scene, another song by her I really like. I would love to one day get a duet version of Love Wins All. 💜

You reaaaaaaallly have to watch her actually recording this track. She has a SEVERE cold. And yet she slays

There is a Behind the Scenes for the music video, but the Behind for the Recording of this song might be of special interest to you… she’s a real pro and did it when she was sick, after other attempts, and following MV shoot where she got the flu… Rolling Stone rates her one of the greatest singers of all time, like 135 as of a few years ago

IU is an actress as well as a singer. Watch her in dramas such as My Ahjusshi, and Hotel Del Luna. V also acted in a drama called Hwarang.

Hi and thank you for your reaction. no apologies needed, IU is the Fairy Queen of the Korean music industry, but she has not been overly interested in the western market up until this year. However in Asia is another whole different story. Her resume over 180 songs, over 70 self composed (including this one, lyrics) nominated to 321 awards wining 134. Because you are a bit familiar with BTS, Suga said "we can not talk about Korean music, not just k-pop but the whole Korean music industry without talking about IU, that's a fact". since you're praising her voice I'll just add not bad for someone worryingly sick at time of recording. This is a good sample of her talent but make no mistake, she can sing anything, and do it great and live performance is so good people have hard time deciding if the live version is better than the studio one, maybe you need to check her live singing.

the director of this MV is quite famous Movie director in South Korea. he's famous for like post-apocalytic, post-modern thing.

Welcome dear sir to the vast and amazing world of IU.
I won’t say much, but I’ll just tell you that few people would disagree to he statement that IU is one the greatest, most iconic, most talented Korean artists ever. Facts about her would be easy to google up so I won’t talk about those but to recommend a few wonderful IU songs you may find interesting,

My Sea -just mindboggling. It is an extremely complex and diverse song with so much happening inside it both instrumentally and vocally. I’d say it is probably the best song to understand the vocal talent of IU.

Coin -A very unique song by IU, showing her diverse musical style. This song is unlike any of her other songs and it involves a number of interesting points to discuss. This song is probably just about the opposite of Love Wins All.

Unlucky -Very bright and bouncy song with extremely peculiar chord progressions. One of my personal favorites, and I believe it will be very fun to analyze, due to its tight arrangement.

Looking forward to all your future videos! Again, thank you so much for doing the channel.

My first time listening to IU and really liked her voice :) Thank you - and the Patreon who requested the video - for this lovely experience!

the way this song manages to make me cry every damn time lmao

I would love to open
a Victorian music box
hear this beautiful piano melody
and IU's crystal-clear voice.
She's waltzing in a circle with V...
Lovely intro--🩰🌸

IU is the most successful, famous and loved female Ksoloist along with V they are called the national treasures. This MV turned upside down to sk and was huge impact along all SNS, the filming, the story line, their acting all was high quality … She’s an amazing artist, I suggest you to react more from her discography you will love it, also I recommend you the live performance of V debut album LAYOVER at Tiny desk Korea it’s amazing !

I'm sure so many people told you already but IU and V did sing together on a show she hosts in which the guest sing, it's one of her song, Ending Scene, they turned it into a duet especially for the occasion and they sound incredible together (it's also a good way to see her sing live for the first time!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1a3-A6ae2sc They filmed this a few weeks before this MV, they are pretty close friends
