Man the true ending for this game is sad. After everything that Arnold had to suffer through he just gets his data driver stolen by M2 and then dies in his wrecked car.😢

Cory, as far of our understanding of the lore, Edwin obv made the animatronics, with the designs made by Fiona, Edwin worked with his friend William Afton and Henry until eventually Edwin became stressed after Fionas death and the mimic not working right which made his workload worse, William and Henry decide to leave him, take him for what hes got, and all of Edwin's employees left him to work with William, they used Edwin's schematics to recreate the animatronics as their own thing which is what was the start of Fnaf, but they cut budget's, made it poorly which is what made the animatronics freak out or have the spring locks that kills William in the future into spring trap.

As for the mimic stuff, after Fionas death I believe Edwin had the mimic pretend to be her after David's death? To cope, until the mimic starts mimicking his dead son David, which I believe made him start abusing the mimic, which is what taught the mimic to be aggressive, it learned to be neglectful, abusive, because of Edwin and it wanted to be fixed after what happened, and because the mimic can copy voices and mimic others, the dispatcher the whole time was just the mimic talking to you

9:51 that whole compilation just warmed my heart aww it must've been so nostalgic for Cory, having to come across that vid file

Some important tips if you end up going for the secret ending:

1. You can actually get both the bad AND secret ending within the same playthrough, since  the game doesn't reset after giving up the data driver so you can continue from your last checkpoint, just make sure you don't run parachute.exe until you have all the collectibles you need from the main area

2. The secret ending requires that you get every collectible in the game and complete the moon.exe minigame, however it is important that you DO NOT input that final door code from the tapes you get in Edwin's house, as you get locked out of the secret ending after going up to his office.  Once you complete moon.exe you will have access to the locked doors in Edwin's house, you can piece it together from there :)

EDIT: There is technically one collectible in Edwin's house at the end but it isn't needed to get the secret ending, just for the achievement, so I recommend completing moon.exe before running parachute.exe since the computer terminals become trickier to get to during the end

Like so he sees this!

25:28 “Oh Thats Fiona?” try’s not to laugh “Pretty.!” SUCH A KIND PERSON😅😂😊😊

Cory pls never apologize for being missing or having to take care of family stuff man. I honestly didnt even notice the days go by and am impressed with how consistent you are with this series! We dont need an explanation!

9:40 this whole transition is just so dang sweet. Bet it was very nostalgic for him

45:38 Foxy reacting to the player being in the animatronic is a good call back to FNAF 2 where Foxy can see through the Freddy head the Night Guard wears.

25:28 “oh thats Fiona… pretty” 😂😂😂

To be clear: the mimic (endoskeleton) did not kill David, he was hit by a car. And that audio file of Edwin crashing out was when the mimic copied David’s voice and then the mimic mimicked the rage and violence of Edwin which is why it attacks

Cory I think you missed a bit of information 1:03:30 , divid passed away on the playground set Edwin got him for his birthday, m2 started mimicking David and Edwin crashed out and beat m2 up, hint where he learned violence, it also copied neglect from Edwin since he was neglecting David also why M2 didn’t call for help, hope the clears some confusion

49:47 its such a nice little detail that the clock is at 5o clock almost 6 nearing the end of the game

18:54  Have you not heard the line Chica says on a fan or maybe original game I don't know but Chica said "I was the first and I had seen everything"

9:45 aww, I know he smiled like crazy upon seeing this. We all grow at some point and remember our childhood, teen days, adulthood.

“Its the trendy gamer here, playing all the trendy games” is so iconic😭 0:20

20:26 “I was the first, I have seen EVERYTHING.” - Withered Chica (UCN) that just gave us a new meaning to that voice line.

37:18 this along with the speech is probably the most hooked fnaf has ever had me in real-time since the beginning of the teasers of security breach (~5 years ago) kudos to the voice actor, seriously.
