Auf euren Wunsch malen wir eine Seite in Johanna Basfords neuem Buch "Inklings" mit einem simplen Streifen-Hintergund und kleinen Objekten, die man perfekt nach und nach ausmalen kann.
Schnappt euch eure Buntstifte und gönnt euch eine kreative Auszeit zu entspannender Musik und Vogelgezwitscher!

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how I use Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils as a base for my Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencils. I’ve been really enjoying using this technique lately as it’s easier on my hand and lets me colour the pages more quickly. I love the result!
As you requested, we’ll be colouring a page from Johanna Basford’s new book Inklings with a simple striped background and small objects that are perfect for colouring in bit by bit.
Grab your coloured pencils and treat yourself to a creative break with some relaxing music and birdsong!

Part 2 please. The cherries are my favorite followed by the strawberry. They both look so convincing, tasty 😂. It’s fun to color small elements sometimes, no worries about the overall impression of the page, just fun.

I always love watching you color so of course a part 2! Looking fabulous so far 🤩🤩How did you manage with the paper, I always get bleed through in this book, the english version.

Do you dip your water pen into clean water after every different colour? I'm presuming you do but it's off screen. And, how do you maintain such a light pressure on the water pen????? I guess I must be heavy-handed, as there always seems to be too much water. By the way, your colouring is just beautiful. I also have Johanna Basfords "Inklings", but have only used prisma coloured pencils so far. Xx from Pat on NSW Central Coast.
