I have a 2026 Sequoia 1794 Edition same price range. It looks great but the engine is pure garbage. That V6 twin turbo has had 3 recalls and over 155,000 engines replaced. Toyota played dirty and didn’t include the Sequoia in the recall they said “When the engine fails the hybrid motor will drive you safely “ bullshit the engines are poorly made and they are replacing the best V8 engines ever made with these v6 turbo crap. This v6 turbo will Never perform as good as the V8 they stopped making. These sequoia also at 5,000 miles have a coolant leak I know multiple people who have all had this happen, I did. They kept my Sequoia for weeks trying to figure out hot to fix it. Toyota corporate then advised to replace some engine parts…imagine after spending over $86,000 at 5,000 miles you already have engine issues?? I have a 2002 Tundra with the V8 that stills run like new. Toyota has lost its way and doesn’t care about reliability anymore. I will never buy another Toyota and I have been a loyal customer for 40 years, I have 3 Camry’s and a Tundra now along with this Sequoia. I am getting rid of the Sequoia because of all the issues going on with the engines. It was a waste of money, they caught me. I got rid of my Mercedes S-550 that was an excellent luxury car thinking I would have this Luxury SUV…I regret it. I miss my Mercedes Benz. Be aware…Toyota is nothing like it used to be.
