I hate how they keep calling it “the boat case” and not “the death of Mallory Beach.” It’s not about the wreck of the boat. It’s about the death of a 19 year old thanks to Paul’s mean-drunk recklessness and sense of entitlement.

Sadly. The elderly caregiver, a black woman testified while crying for over 2 hours and not one person offered her any tissue or a bottle of water. She sniffed and teared all over her face and no one cared.  She took care of Alex's mother and was dedicated to that family. A sad reality.

Referring to Mallory as “The token boat case” is classless. Shows no professionalism nor compassion for the Beach Family. I’m glad her family was awarded 15.5 mil

Maggie had “not a lavish life, but a comfortable life.” 3 houses, over a thousand acres of property with ponds, fields, beach house, city house, grand parties, nanny for her sons, hired workers for property and animal maintenance, multiple F-150 platinums, loaded suburbans, BMWs, boats, side by sides, golf carts. Looking for another house in Hilton Head. I’d love to know what such people consider a lavish lifestyle. 6:27

“she is-was my only sibling” absolutely broke my heart 🥺

“It wasn’t a lavish life, it was a comfortable life”.  What on earth?  Maggie’s life appears to have been extremely lavish!  Vacations, multiple houses, boats, guns, housekeepers… this family wanted for nothing.

I'm low income, live alone,  I noticed sister-in-law commented that the family didn't have a lavish income.  To me, they were blessed with many material things

That these people could think THEIR family were treated unfairly because of the boat accident and Mallory Beach's death...  such entitlement, such selfishness.  Incredible.

I'm no judge, but this judge comes across as engaged, focused, professional, and completely in control of the court.

Daggers flew out of Alex eyes when she said Alex didn’t seem to be afraid.

Hearing testimony in cases like this makes me thankful for my simple blue collar life.

Paul and Maggie may not have been model citizens but NO ONE deserves to be murdered by their husband or father. Absolutely devastating.

The sister in law is absolutely correct about Alex's priority.

Maggie's poor sister probably knows more than she'll ever say. Great sorrow really humbles a soul

What a disgusting COWARD staying with Maggie's sister, & her parents, after he murdered their Daughter & Sister, can't get much lower than that.

The moral of this story: don’t trust a man that doesn’t even know how to pronounce his own first name

Alex wasnt worried about finding a killer or killers, as he already knew there was not one, other than himself.  He hid behind his grandfather's and father's legal reputations, and power in the community, and believed there would be no consequences for his behavior.  He thought he had planned the perfect murders, to get his financial liabilities to disappear.  He was manipulating people and events, to make it appear that someone else had done these evil and heinous acts.  My heart goes out for the sister.  Her emotional pain is palpable and genuine, as she relives the events.  Murdaugh's 'tears' are nothing but props for acting.  IMHO, he is a despicable murdering sociopath, and he DID think about doing this for a very long time.

I think Maggie’s mother’s reaction to hearing her daughter was shot to death is helpful for all to remember what this trial is about and what was lost.

They were five years apart: lawyer said seven. She said they were the only kids; lawyer then asks how many siblings did you have? Is this guy deaf?

The look on his face when she said "Alex didn't seem to be afraid". Says so much.
