good conversion/upgrade, shame you didnt keep the copper theme with the alloys, the OEM choices are quite smart on Formentor and Teramar.

My main observations since owning my vz formentor 310hp:
Heat - Engine bay gets really hot. An intercooler or turbo heat blanket might help.
Handling - The factory ride hide height and dampening is good in cupra or individual setting maxed out and I dont recommend changing it however a rear sway bar is all thats needed to help the understeer. Making the car more rwd biased in the haldex obd11 settings also helps.
Power - Is more than enough after a stage1 tune with induction kit and bigger turbo inlet.
Brakes- standard brembo setup has plenty stopping power however change the pads to pagid street is a good choice or dba extreme
Exhaust - A back box mod and some new tips is a cheaper option. Along with remote valve control. Also turn off the fake exhaust sound coming from the speaker.
Transmission - Its slow to react. Gearbox tune is now unlocked and available. A burger pedal mod also helps. Some settings in obd11 also helps the pedal feel and how it reacts.
Wheels - standard ones look great but the stance is better with some spacers. 16mm rear / 10mm front makes the wheels flush without issues.
Bodykit - Maxton all day
Lights - buy an obd11 and programme to have the rear bar light on. Swapping the front drl module also looks cool.

Love the mech side of things..but the wrap n wheels are not for me....im deffo conciderimg the formentor.

Quick ??? When doing all this work, WHY did u not change out the expansion tank to a metal 1, as down the track that plastic 1 is going to let go!? Maybe not a big deal, however whilst car off the road simple change over!!???

I bet this thing shifts, look forward to seeing it next time I visit.

A racingline spring cracked on my B9 S4 after 15k miles. My BMW has 312k miles and only had to replace a cracked spring at 310k. Pish.

I've had mine for almost four years, bog standard and in my opinion needs no upgrades for today's driving conditions.
