It's a shame when they finally got the ball rolling, the series ended

The “Hooked on Phonics” insert at 27:25 always gets me.

I’m getting old. I’m nostalgic for old Funhaus and Inside Gaming.

I know a lot of people watched this to see them actually build the car, but I gotta be honest, their antics on the road were so much more entertaining imo.

One of my fondest memories of this game is the time I was driving home at night and I got the tractor stuck in a swamp or something because (I think) I was trying to save time by driving off-road so I went "Fuck it! I'll come back tomorrow and pull it out with the van." I grabbed my case of beer and started walking home in the total darkness, praying I was actually still going toward my house. I remember the moment I got close enough to see the mailboxes in the 1% of light that was available because I walked all night and I was so proud of myself for navigating my way home in the dark. I finally walked through my front door; hungry, fatigued, filthy, and drunk, and that was when I discovered that I had forgotten to pay the light bill and everything in my refrigerator had gone bad.

the funny thing is they played the easy version of this game (pre van being unavailable unless you helped your uncle, etc)

i have to imagine that even if they somehow had infinite time and resources, they’d still never even get the car to start.

I was watching this playthrough when YouTube took you away from me Armitage but now your back in my life and I now feel complete.

2026 anyone?
