Simple explanation: they had the plot armor mod installed

They installed the mod that allowed them to use plot armor

peacefull mode ❌
Minecraft movie mode ✅

0:10, Then again Wolves shouldn’t be aggressive without any provocation.

The creeper scene was the one that irked me the most. I was so ready for them to explode and they just... didnt. Thats like their whole thing!

They should have made dying in Minecraft a running gag in the movie, because you can respawn if you die in Minecraft at the last spawnpoint, so that is why I would make Steve say “ya gotta sleep to set your spawnpoint just in case if you die”

> Repeating command block
> Always active
> /Execute as Steve at Steve run spawnpoint
> /Gamerule instantRespawn true

0:53 Here in fact there is a perhaps somewhat far-fetched explanation: He was wearing a leather jacket, that maybe counts as armor and he was able to survive thanks to that, although you barely survive.

I think the idea is that Creepers are curious but get nervous they approach the player

It amazed me how little the Minecraft Movie was actually about Minecraft

it’s ok. they respawned instantaneously

1:40 Flying through a 1 block hole is difficult, but possible.

2:10 maybe they were in the sense that the plan was certainly creative

I found Minecraft story mode both season 1 and 2 more cinematically entertaining than the Minecraft movie and yes, I will die on that hill.

0:50 the reason why he doesn’t die is explained by the writer I believe? He has a leather jacket and it acts as a leather chest plate. Also I think they’re on normal difficulty not hard.

3:18 it could just be that the wolves were angry at skeletons nearby

Feels weird while the pink sheep dying, not have red damage blinking

2:57 Steve is a lil bit heavier in the movie tho because the slime block bends

Applying the base game's rules, the ghast doesn't destroy the portal at the end and anyone can just light it up again with a FLINT AND STEEL to resume the invasion

I love how the dialogue in this movie pretended that the message was the value of creativity when every threat is solved by fighting or blowing something up. Like, it wasn't just Steve, EVERYONE had hands. Made me think Henry was going to come up with something to beat the enderman and nope, just axe to the face like he's Conan the Barbarian.
