-WNY winters indeed are a physical challenge and in my late 70s I'm in no shape to try tackling them. I live in N. Va. now, hated the years I had to endure Fla., and missed the 4 real seasons of the North so much I had to get closer to the old home town! My spring/summer/fall visits to Buffalo always include some museum or architecture marvel, as well as the latest local delight from area restaurant cooks -foodies looking for a thrill shouldn't pass up a few tastes of Buffalo!
