I've been to Oban many times in mid summer & January best place to visit best to book a few days there. If you do go next time, head up Pulpit Hill( go past premier inn/train station) which gives u another view of Oban. St Columba's church is free to go in nice inside & war museum when open. If you didn't try the Oban Chocolate shop you missed out hot chocolate & chilli is 👍. Isle of kerrea is nice to visit for the day,plus get a bus to Dunstafage castle which is 10mins away out of Oban (check days of opening). Hope you visit the isle of mull/duarts castle & even to Tobermory & Isle of Iona. The west coast of Scotland has many stunning places to visit, hope to see more of your vlogs 👍

Oban is still on my bucket list but thanks for this wonderful appetiser. CalMac, short for Caledonian Macbrayne. Oban, the Romans didn't get this far north but McCaig built an amphitheatre anyway. 😀👍
