i love they didnt shy to bare their feelings. they must really love and care how they portrayed the character till they felt the character are alive. now im gonna go watch it

Junho and Seyoung were fully immersed in their respective characters and the feelings and pains of the characters became them as if its their own. Brilliant acting ... applause 👏👏👏, one of the reasons why the drama is a success.
How would they be able to forget the feelings .... if ever. SanDeok's pains and sorrow had become their pains and sorrow too, thats why it  brought tears to them.

No other K-drama hits me hard like this one, the emotion journey of the King and his unwaved affection toward his woman at some point became heart-wrenching to watch. Excellent acting from both, especially Lee Junho, coming from an idol group 2PM, his acting exceeded my expectation. He is so talented and hard working too, recent recognition (awards) well deserved!

These two seriously owe us a Modern Day drama with a Happy Ending. I love their chemistry and how they brought these roles to Life!!! Hope to see them together again❤️

Every time I watch this series, I cry until my chest hurts. It's a very good story 😢💔

I just finished this series for the 1st time. 😩🥺😢😭😭😭💔I wasn’t prepared for this. I cried like a baby. What a sad life they had. Real life isn’t Disney. Being a king , queen, concubine meant your life wasn’t yours. You were guided by strict protocols. This story just broke me, I didn’t know the real life story of those 2. The 2 lead actors did an amazing performance. 👏👏👏
Now I need to watch something light and funny.

They acted with such emotions that even watching their own scenes is making them cry

I straight up cried during whole episode 17 😭😭

The ost always makes the scene 1000 times more emotional

I've never felt this empty after  finishing a kdrama this sure is the best I kept sobbing until the end the actors were so real for this😭😭

I can't explain how much it hurt me. Nothing can beat this masterpiece. Really red sleeve hits hard❤❤❤❤❤ acting is top notch ❤❤❤❤❤

I cried so much, still cant hold my tears. it was such beautiful drama, cast and crew were amazing

They actually transformed into that character the fact that the scene also put them into tears just by watching it. They really did an amazing job!

Wow! Come on I always wonder, they do this hundreds of times and just by seeing it they get emotional... just wow wow great work!
