Wrappon has the PF1 now too, made in Japan, $500-ish price point. Does the same schtick of heat sealing a bag and uses coagulant packs. But, it's manual load and unload, one bag at a time. It's party trick is that it breaks down into a flat pack, kinda like a Boxio, and weighs less than 10 pounds. Not something most van builds would use, but great for truck campers, Jeeps, etc. Bags are about $1.50 each.

We have the OGO on our sailboat. It’s been 2 years and we love it. Requires a little adjustment to master the level of humidity for the compost but once it is, no smell it’s amazing. Done with the pump out. Compost if used full time will last a few weeks then it can be dumped in a garbage bag to be disposed of.

Great review!. I am looking for the best self-sealing toilet to replace a truma cassette toilet and be able to retrieve the bags from the outside door as needed. I may just modify the catch bucket to drop down further. Thanks for the reviews.

I’m convinced it’s time to upgrade from a cassette to a dry flush unit. Your video is very helpful and I appreciate your dry flush sense of humor. I agree that bagging every time I pee is tedious and I like the Compcloset, . I’m just not confidant in my bombing aim and worry I would get the solids in the pee chamber. But if they make a model with a built in bidet, I’d buy it today.

Thank you for doing these big comparisons! I can't get behind the ones that just plop a full bag on the floor/ground. Not unless they could be balanced over a bucket to catch it.

The toilet with the battery is simple to retrofit from a cassette toilet in a caravan and in the instance when the house battery maybe be drained you still have a toilet you can use and it connects to the wiring from the cassette toilet, unlike the Clasana the still requires a battery and a lot more retro fitting for the switch. The Clesana is a fantastic unit when you are building from scratch but more complicated when retro-fitted.

I wish the urine separating self sealing toilets had an option to remove the separation on days where we need a "bigger blast radius", e.g. when our stomach is upset and we have diarrhea or vomiting etc. Maybe TMI but that's the main deterrent for me in these toilets that steers me towards the Laveo.
