China’s $15 Trillion Ocean Discovery Could Replace Oil Forever — Is It Real?
Basalt fiber is the volcanic rock thread China is using to make its South China Sea artificial islands last 100 years. Melted at 1,450°C and pulled through platinum to form filaments a third the width of a hair, it is 6 to 8 times stronger than steel and never rusts. The film traces how it holds up Fiery Cross, Mischief and Subi Reefs, why radar domes need it, and why the $15 trillion market claim is false while a tiny $700 million market still works as rust insurance.
