EKHAI LE, FIGHTER 100 RUALIN HOUTHI HEL AN NUAI TA

The Saudi-led coalition said Monday that 100 fighter jets had participated in the ongoing “Dawn of Yemen” military operation against the Houthis, Anadolu reports.
The coalition said 324 “high-value targets” had been destroyed since the operation began.

In separate statements, it said it was providing round-the-clock air support to Yemeni government forces on the ground and air protection for the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, adding that operations against moving targets were continuing
The Yemeni military launched the “Dawn of Yemen” operation against Houthi forces, with government forces advancing in several areas.

Yemeni military spokesman Lt. Col. Majid Abdullah al-Nuzayli said government forces, including the pro-government Southern Giants Brigades and Nation’s Shield forces, had taken control of Bab el-Mandeb.

He also said government forces had taken control of Dhubab airport and cut the road between Dhubab and Mocha, establishing fire control over it.
Leaders of a Saudi-led coalition in Yemen claimed a broad air campaign involving 100 jet aircraft was under way on Monday against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels along the Red Sea coastline and farther north in the capital, Sana’a.

The Saudi coalition spokesperson, Maj Gen Turki al-Maliki, said the 100 fighter jets participating in Operation Dawn of Yemen were providing support to forces of Yemen’s internationally recognised government.

He said the coalition had secured “air protection” of the strategic Bab al-Mandab strait and destroyed hundreds of Houthi targets. He claimed hundreds of Houthis fighters had been beseiged in the Dhubab district, including the airport, close to the Bab al-Mandab strait, with some Houthi fighters fleeing across the Red Sea in boats.

An Israeli airstrike in Gaza City overnight Friday-Saturday targeted Ali al-Amoudi, the terror group’s de facto leader in the enclave, according to the military, with Palestinian media reporting five people killed, including a number of women.
It was unclear whether Amoudi was killed.
The strike hit a building in western Gaza City. Palestinian media reported that among those killed were Maisaa Abu Dawood and her daughter Mary, members of Gaza’s Greek Orthodox church

Videos circulating online showed a funeral procession for the pair in the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza City on Saturday.
Dr. Yasmin Al-Bobo, head of Palestine University’s multimedia department, and her mother were also identified as victims, along with a 21-year-old man

The Israel Defense Forces said that the strike targeted Amoudi while he was residing in an apartment “used for terror activity, inside a residential building,” and that it took steps to “minimize harm to civilians as much as possible.”
“This is further evidence of the Hamas terror group’s hiding among the civilian population and its cynical use of them as human shields and to advance terrorist plots,” the army said
