I wanted Prometheus to explore the Engineers. I did enjoy the movie but left with unanswered important questions. I'm still waiting for a movie based on the Engineers themselves. Culture, religion and their science. Imo there have been enough " bread crumbs". I know we're supposed to be left with questions about creation but the Engineers really deserve a movie of their own now.

I'm of sound mind that ridley Scott should do a super cut for Prometheus & covenant, this might get everyone on board for a follow up to covenant. what hurt the prequels was too much key information left out of the movies & having to do a tone of homework in order to understand them, outsourcing information.

Prometheus (2012) is set primarily in 2093, with the ship arriving at LV-223 late that year. The original Alien (1979) is set in 2122, when the Nostromo crew investigates the derelict ship on LV-426.That makes the events of Prometheus approximately 29 years before Alien (2122 - 2093 = 29).

it's so clear now how could I've missed the 100 hidden clues and references from obscure sources. not to mention deleted scenes and interviews after the films release. da, it's so obvious .....

It’s too bad that Scott cut so many scenes out of the theatrical release. As a result he revealed so little that watching it became an immensely frustrating experience. Many thanks for your hard work here to fill in the gaps.

this is one of the best breakdowns of prometheus.
my theory about vickers is that she is not an android but a replicant clone of his dead daughter.
this is the same universe as blade runner so she was built for him by the tyrell corporation.

I will forever be blessed with a wonderful childhood memory at age 7; sitting on my dad’s lap in the front row at a movie theater to watch Alien. Yes, my dad always let me watch horror movies. I even got an Alien puzzle. I can honestly say, with every single movie whether great or not, I’m a stoked out freak waiting to watch them. Because ironically, my dad died unnatural yet lives on with all these movies and always returns me back to a favorite memory and my most favorite movie ever in my now 52 years of life…
