Born in Tokyo. While writing about music and expressive culture in general, he serves as editor-in-chief of the critical journal LOCUST*, which mimics a travel magazine. He received the Hiroki Azuma Special Jury Prize at the 3rd term of the "Genron Atsushi Sasaki Criticism Revival School."
