I bought mine several years ago and have worn mine in the Northern California area at well below freezing as well as wearing it in Fairbanks Alaska chasing the Iditarod mine kept me almost too warm. I do like the cold but the real Boreal Mountain Anorak like this one featured in the video is a no joke anorak. Very heavy and real high quality.
Boreal Mountain Anoraks are awesome. I bought one last year, wore it in the 5° weather we got in Arkansas, it kept me warm and held up to the crazy winds
Nice video brother! I've had Swandri anoraks and Asbell Anoraks as well but the BMA Anoraks are by far superior! I'm a big fan of the company. The canvas anorak is a great companion, it blocks the wind but doesn't compromise its breathability. Great job I've subbed👍👍
Excellent video. We've had a cold winter down here and I've learned just how important neck protection really is. Thanks for the heads up on this company. They are new to me.
Thanks I am buying one today. I live in Louisiana and hunt in both Louisiana and Mississippi. Typical cold days are in the 40s to low 30s but very damp. When I was in the Grand Tetons in 20 degree Fahrenheit it felt the same as being in 40 degree weather here in the south due to humidity in the air. I think this will serve me well when hunting. Good review
Gram weighing latte sippers. Love it Sir! I ordered my Loden anorak a couple of days ago, I’m so excited to get it. It’s December here in Canada and it’s beginning to cool down here. Thanks for your post Sir.
i cant decide between the swedish made micklagaard which is high quality or the 3xl bma just because i dont have to have it custom made because of my size
Well done mate! Love that you have a Swanndri as well. I’ve worn a Swanndri for years up here in Alaska and you pointed out very well some of the shortcomings of a ‘Swanni’. I still believe that no one knows wool like the Kiwis and the best wool in the world comes from New Zealand. However, the Boreal Anorak fixes two problems I’ve always had with my Swanni. One is the one you mentioned about the neck opening. The second is the huge pocket on the front of the Boreal that I always wished my Swanni had. Cheers!!!
