Love Shirley’s calming voice and the stories from the 60’s and 70’s - more of that please. I am Roman’s generation but love sharing these with my mum who can relate to the upbringing of Shirl and Martin even though she was in Australia, very similar memories of the traditions of that time

Love to see the three of you together. Imagine being on the same cruise as you, how wonderful. Just goes to show you don’t need a piece of paper …your a great example of a happily married couple. The first time I went abroad I was 19, and that was a coach trip to a camp site. I was 22 first time I flew. My Mum never left the country, she never wanted to see anywhere other than UK. Being the same age as Shirley and Martin it’s so interesting because I remember it too 😂 Myst try Norwegian cruise line next time we cruise. Love you guys, don’t stop 🙏🏻🫶🏻👏🏻❤️🚢🇬🇧

I always end up with an aching jaw, from so many belly laughs. We arrived back from our first Royal Caribbean cruise to New Zealand last Thursday, with our 30 yr old daughter. We made a lot of happy lasting memories. Best holiday ever. It’s your own fault if you don’t have Fun 🤩 on a cruise. Incredible entertainment and activities, they cater for all ages. I’m hanging out now to hear about the Kemps holiday stories💞🐨🐨🦘

I have never laughed so much and relived my childhood as well. My childhood Holidays were at Butlins in Minehead and they were the best. Our parents saved up all year and my dad borrowed a friends car for the best 2 weeks ever. Also like warming rocks in a bed, my dad told me and my sister that as a child he was so poor that his dad would suck an extra strong mint and breathe over the children to keep them warm and we believed him 😅. How gullible were we 🤣 Love these podcasts with you all.
