Bruh, this is someone who used everything in their arsenal, even if their arsenal consists of a stick, a hammer, three nails, some measuring tape, and a flamethrower ofc.

Alanah with better encounters would've been scary to play against in the tournament. Her team ended up being fun as hell though.

@26:28 I lost it when she crashed out at chat telling them to use their names because she doesn't know what the pokemon are called. lmao she's so funny

Alanah was low key my favorite of the competitors - she played so incredibly well for both the nuzlocke and the tournament. I hope she gets to come back again - she got really screwed over by the scheduling issues and time zones.

I'm really sad that Alanah and Luke didn't get to work as closely together as some of the other teams. Both because it probably would have been a way more fun experience for the two of them, but also because I think Alanah would have been even more of a force to be reckoned with had she not had to go through so much of the event with little to no contact with her coach.

I went to high school with someone named Mike Truck. He was exactly as you'd imagine -- drove a lifted pickup, regularly wore camo, and hunting and fishing were his personality. He was a good kid, don't get me wrong. But man, he really did check all the boxes.

If only Heavy Metal Charizard lucked into Heat Crash.  Nothing says peak gaming like Chonkzard smushing opponents with its girthy backside

We need Wolfie as the coach for next year's perish trap team

pls do this next year too its really fun to watch all these

Alanah's Elite 4 was probably one of the least hype ones, but it's undoubtedly the cleanest. You could tell me she has thousands of hours of nuzlocke experience and I'd believe you, she played pretty much flawlessly.

I was very confused to watch the tournament without seeing two of the play throughs

Unrelated, but Luke took 11k attempts on Run & Bun by running a different early game (pre 104 Grunt). He instead rolled his encounters in an algorithm; if he deemed them "too bad", he counted it as an attempt and rerolled them. He later abandoned this, and got his winning run.

I used to watch a ton of Funhaus before The Horrors, so it's really cool to see Alanah in this tourney.

If there's a Year 2 Invitational the winner of year two should have a show match against this years champion at the end of the event

I love that every time Alana says "Furcotte" the YT subtitles censors it because it sounds like she's saying "f*ck it" lol

I just wish she and Luke did end up bringing Furcott instead of Wigglytuff. Imagine the aura of rocking up with a Furret

been waiting for the week 4 highlights...this will do for now

WOOO NEW VID 💥

pointcrow please tell me you pronounced "facade" like that ironically lol

FINALLY! I THOUGHT YOU'D SNUBBED SOME PEOPLE
