I love how it went from 'stopping corrupt capitalistic mayor' to 'monks hitting the griddy while you prevent the moon from ripping itself apart and finally gain a cat's guardianship' within minutes, truly, this is what gaming was invented for.

im so glad the powerwash team leaned into the lore for the sequel. its so funny and endearing

No one, ever, in the history of mankind, has uttered the sentence, "Hey, remember that potentially Sentient dog-car we cleaned a while ago?"

I got so distracted cleaning the art deco house that I didn’t even realize the Merman’s beam disappeared till I was like 80% done.

A couple funny things.

1st: The truck you see zoom past in one of the desert levels? That was the cement truck we cleaned later.

2nd: I liked looking at some of the books in the mall, a couple of them being from Jeff himself, like "How to Win At Any Cost" and some other unique titles worth taking a look at.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but the gas station level is actually based off of another really popular simulator game, “gas station simulator”. The one where you have the scare away the kid named Dennis

great vid! already can't wait for "yes, powerwash simulator 3 has MOST lore"

31:51 Yeah, uh, it’s already happened. And it’s… bad.

There’s a guy who an AI misidentified as someone else who was banned from a casino and was then arrested because of that. But, there is another one I’ve heard of that is so much worse.

Police used AI facial recognition to arrest a 50 year old woman from Tennessee for a crime committed in North Dakota, somewhere she has stated she has never been, over 1000 miles away from where she lives. She was then extradited to North Dakota where she spent 5 months in jail. When she was then found innocent because they had no actual evidence beyond AI accusing her, she was released in North Dakota, again 1000 miles away from where she lives, and given no assistance by the state in getting home.

Id love to see a video talking about the licensed DLC from the first game, but rather than discussing how they fit into the lore of PowerWash Sim, instead discussing how they fit into the lore of the IP itself

I WILL NOT STAND FOR SURFACE CLEANER SLANDER IS IT JANKY YES BUT IT SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME

Here for the cat drama.

They have actually updated the furniture system somewhat recently (in March) to allow things like putting chairs on top of rugs, just so you know. It's still a little finnicky, but they seem to be working on it

How dare the algorithm hide this from me. WOW this had a lot more lore to it than I thought! The note that Harper calls us by odd names to new clients while the Mayor uses Dirtfinder was a really good catch. Like you said at the end, not as shocking and exciting as the temple from the first game, but still a good time with some fun levels.

Also the "OOP" as you got shot into the air on the rollercoaster is sending me lol

One more mystery: why haven't the kittens aged in what people keep saying was several years? This doesn't seem like the series to make that mistake.

I'd really love for them to make like an "ultimate cleaning tool" that unlocks at the end of the game that is like cheat code almost, giving you some crazy water cannon like the 3-way nuzzle but make it 5 and that spins or some shit. I love to be able to re-do games with some overpowered gear, like a new-game plus

19:00 I didn't notice it in the video but right now playing the game the central circle literally looks like a top of a space ship of our time travelling friend

3:13 this is totally irrelevant to the video topic but these two games made me realize that I have some weird phobia of garden gnomes. I don't know why, maybe it's an uncanny valley type thing? Like, the second I see one in a level I HAVE to carry it as far away as possible and leave it there so I don't have to stumble across it. It's at a point where I habitually/obessively have to search the level for gnomes to remove before i can even think about washing anything because sometimes I'm looking at the ground or something while cleaning it and all the sudden a gnome pops into frame and jumpscares me. Like, I get a visceral feeling when I see them. It feels close to anger or disgust but it's not really those things, I just can't really describe any other way. It doesn't ruin the game for me or anything but like I feel genuinely incapable of starting a level before I know where the gnome is. Sometimes there isn't even a gnome and I just spend 5+ minutes sniffing around every nook and cranny and am paranoid for the entire time I'm cleaning that I might have missed it and it's gonna fucking kill me or something (maybe not that far, but it definitely stresses me out lmao). I feel like I might be the only one with this problem but shoutout to anyone who just read an entire paragraph purely of me ranting about my distaste for gnomes lmao

26:40 Fun fact about pure oxygen: it will suffocate you. Our lungs are adapted to the atmosphere, which is decidedly not pure oxygen. Also oxygen is explosive.

The secret bird house is also a refference to the story of Baba Yaga.

17:58 It occurs to me that at least one person probably learned about Gerrymandering and it's consequences through power wash simulator and i think that rocks.
