東海さんは新幹線の客が流れるのが嫌だろうけど、直通による新規需要を作ると思って協力してほしい
ＪＲ各社の境界駅はざっくり言えば
１．その路線の発駅又は着駅
２．県境に近い駅
３．需要があれば境界駅を越えて乗入する
だと思います。
紀勢本線は亀山駅が発駅なので、
境界駅になりえますが
関西本線は県境に近い駅であれば、
伊賀上野が境界駅でも良かったと
思います。
尺海としてはなるべく在来線はいらないので
非電化の亀山以西はいらないと言ったのでしょうね
ただ、行政としては県民の一体化をする為には
県境まで、尺海に管理して欲しいと思います。
せめて乗入をと要望すれば
非電化なので、県庁所在地である津駅と伊賀上野駅
の気動車直通となってしまいそうですね。
限界以下の古い小さいトンネルなので電化できないようです。
実用化されているハイブリット車などはバッテリが重たく
無理なのでしょうか？
