I definitely think there are signs if we know how to look for them. Another great Taylor song about grief and death is Marjorie. That was her grandmother's name. It's beautiful and the theme is more so about the things that stay with you forever.

I think every Swiftie would agree that Ronan is THE hardest song we have, but also one of the most important. I know its extremely difficult for me as a parent to listen to. I cant even imagine the pain you're sitting with. I often play Ronan with the sound off just so it continues to get the views for Ronans foundation. So, for you to be able to sit through it with your grief, I will listen to it as well. ❤

When my son died, I was a ball of rage. He was my miracle baby, a child I was told I’d never have because of childhood trauma I survived.
Any platitude given made me snap. “He’s in a better place” what place is better than my arms?
“I understand how you’re feeling” … this one got ugly. Losing a child is nothing like any other type of loss. Then there were the people that didn’t know what to say or do, so they stayed away. It was like I died with him. He would have been 26 this last October and there are still days when the grief sneaks up and is overwhelming.
