Funny note about the clip from Indiana Jones; Harrison Ford's decision to have Indiana Jones shoot the swordsman in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was an improvised change that came about due to practical filming constraints. Originally, the scene was intended to feature a lengthy sword fight between Indiana Jones and a skilled swordsman in the streets of Cairo. However, Harrison Ford, who was suffering from dysentery, suggested that they simply have Indy shoot the swordsman to save time and energy. Director Steven Spielberg agreed to the change, resulting in one of the most memorable and iconic moments in the film.

Britt you don't know it but when you called Dan Daly Superman you made every Marine from now until the end of the world fall in love with you.

@bcyomassey649 1 year ago

Dan Daly to this day is still a living legend in the Marine Corps, I know more about him from Marine boot camp than I know about my own family members, also Dan would have murked Superman in 5 minutes

@BrickHouse415 1 year ago

The dish you're thinking of is Peking Duck. It was named after the city before it was renamed to Beijing 😂😂

Look at “Devil Dog” backwards God Lived. Nov 11 is also Marine Corps hangover day, Nov 10 is the Marine Corps birthday

“I quit firing because they quit coming.”

That’s one of the coldest lines ever.

01:00 Is the Unsub community getting after it? I road a bike for 4 miles and now walking my dog 3 miles while listening to this!

Think of the compliment Daly gave to Marine Corps officers. He is obviously an outstanding NCO, but did not want to be, "Just another officer." That means all the other officers were so outstanding that they don't stand out from their peers.

12:26 This was the battle that Desmond Doss's father, William T Doss, fought in as well.

I love your reaction videos. I've been widowed for a few years now and my daughter is not currently in my life, pretty much leaving me alone in this world. For me, your reaction videos are sort of like watching videos with a daughter.

10:03 thank you for that little moment. That is my favorite hymn we sang in church.

Not normal human activity, but is normal Marine activity. At the end of the war Belleau Wood was renamed the Forest of the United States Marine Corps, Belleau Wood, by the French Government.

Let's give the story about Daly taking out the machine gun with three grenades, shooting the German officer with the Colt 1911, and then taking 14 other Germans prisoner a little more perspective. A Colt 1911 handgun only carries 8-rounds of ammo at a time. Meaning that after Daly shot and killed the German officer, he at most had 7-rounds of ammo left in the gun and he took 14 men prisoner with it. He took twice as many men prisoner than he had bullets in his gun!
