"Koichi's purified spirit line is more in line with Leomon anyway"
Shows Koichi dead on the floor
Now that kids is what we call diabolical.

Frontiers is like the 5ds of Digimon.
Out of context it sounds weird, but when you watch it, its actually good.

Karn getting married makes up for that guys parents getting divorced over Angela Anaconda in the Digimon movie

Genius idea; when Frontier first premiered I didn't like it, but I didn't know WHY, but now I can tell that I was missing the partnership between the kids and their Digimon, since that bond is what I loved most about the show!

(so sorry for the comment spam, im just excitable)
big brain idea, what if koichi had TWO partners? his "true" line of liolmon to anubismon who ends up adventuring with takuya and the gang looking for his missing partner while cherubimon GIVES koichi loogamon, and even infuses him with dark energy so he can digivolve to ultimate, making the cerberumon in episode one the ACTUAL corrupted koichi's digimon. which could lead to a double purification of koichi and loogamon where koichi gives loogamon the kindness he's been looking for, leading to koichi having two digimon for potential jogress to match the power of takuya and koji

I also like how Gankoomon and Erlangmon have this extra spirit that accompanies them as part of their power, mirroring each other how the gogglehead and their rival are usually the strongest members of a chosen child group.

🎉 Whoo! Karn is married now! Congrats man!

I also like Anubismon's Egyptian origins harkening back to AncientSphinxmon, the legendary Warrior of Darkness.

I like the loose connection with the darkness spirit to TK/Kari! Plutomon almostworking like a nod to Pegasusmon, and Anubismon as a nod to Nephertimon!

I really like how these lines have a recurring theme of mythology (Shiva, Venus, Hades, etc.) It's a great way of keeping Frontier's concept of the kids taking on the power of legendary figures

Frontier was one of my favorite seasons as a kid. I love any attention it gets, even if it’s a change to it’s fundamental structure 😅😅😅

5:07 Erlangmon also matches with Gankoomon with the aura creating its own digimon so the symmetry is nice between the rivals

Gotsumon in the show felt like Koji's partner

Labradormon for Koji is perfect. He had a lot of problems at the start of the season so what better way to work through those than a man's best friend

Adrenaline in my soul.
Didnt know Karn Ex

Congrats on the wedding Karn! 🎉

That Cody theme is so good
