Nigel and Timon with those gretsch guitars definitely ushered me in this direction with their tones. That red 6120 😮

Been thinking of replacing my pedalboard with this. We are already amp-less at church as I run everything through the BOSS IR-2. But hearing the amps, cabs and effects from one unit is very intriguing! That "dirty clean" you just sampled sounds so good. It's like a perfect tone for most of the Worship songs we have. Thanks for the video!

I'm not even halfway through this vid and I'm already appreciating it so much. Yours is the best one I've come across yet. I got so lost in this vid I didn't realize how long it was until you mentioned it lol. I also share your views on tremelo and adding just a hair of octave to some of my distortions.
Thanks for taking the time!

Would doing a longer video like this, but about finger positions, chord shapes, triads, etc (like y'all's older videos on how to play electric) be something you would consider doing? It would be helpful to have a lot of go-to techniques and basic tools for playing all in one video, in a similar way to how this is almost one-stop-shop for signal chain type stuff.

Ya know, I thought y'all were nuts for front loading amps with your wet effects, but there's no possible way I can argue with your results. Thank you for this. God Bless y'all.

Ive been playing around with brians 64 ac30 and pairing it with plinis clean amp/ delay pedal plugin, it has mod and tape saturation knob that sounds incredible. Really great video, thanks for sharing!

Best ”how to dial tones” that I have seen for years, thx!

Brother…this is gold. Teach a man to fish kind of stuff :)
Hopefully this will empower more people to dial in their gear and have fun with it.

Already, just the amps and verbs sound soooo good

Also the 10 o'clock - 2 o'clock settings echo the well-known, go-to 'Vox V' treble and bass settings . . . when viewed from the rear of an AC-30.

Hi, another church guitarist here. I´ve had Quad Cortex few months now, and never have i put delays and reverbs BEFORE the amp, but that sounds nice, i have to try that.🥰

@BoBigReds 4 months ago

I have so many guitars and amps, but you've about pushed me over the edge to get a quad. I just built a new worship pedalboard too. Thank you!

Beautiful tone! Thank you for sharing! 🙏

i appreciate all of your efforts to share information related to playing guitar in worship settings. generally my preference is less wet and less drive than most of the patches you put out because i generally prefer to hear more of the character of the individual guitar. i still like the sounds you put together and would love to have half of the real amps you guys play around with.
