After almost a decade of living here, you'd think I'd be fluent by now, right? But the reality of learning Japanese while living in Japan is a little more complicated than that.

In today's vlog, I'm opening up about my Japanese language struggles, from not being able to keep up with conversations between native Japanese speakers to awkward misunderstandings and embarrassing moments when I can't find the right words.

I'll also share my Japanese learning journey, how I studied Japanese when I first moved here, what I've learned over the years, and why I've decided to take my language learning seriously again.

And most importantly, I'll talk about the things I'm doing differently this time to improve my Japanese, build confidence, and hopefully become more comfortable communicating in everyday life.

If you're studying Japanese, preparing to move to Japan, or already living here but still struggling with the language, I hope this video reminds you that you're not alone.
