Will substituting foam for stuffing save time on fabric pumpkins, or is it a total sewing flop? Join me today for a fun little crafting experiment!

I’m testing out using foam stabilizer (Style-Vil) on six segments of autumn-themed Mrs. Quilty fabric to see if a pumpkin can stand on its own without traditional stuffing. Spoiler: things don't go quite as planned, but that's all part of the creative process!

Even though the foam pumpkin didn't turn out like I hoped, the experiment sparked a great idea for a future Trick-or-Treat basket project for my grandsons. After finishing up our pumpkin display, join me for a quiet sewing chat while I work on my Flower Garden blocks and brainstorm how to pick my next WIP (work in progress).
