I set off from Diyarbakır city center by hitchhiking and headed towards Eğil, and from there to the Zaza villages.
I entered a random village, but the hospitality, sincerity, and lifestyle I encountered truly surprised me.
I had the opportunity to closely observe the traditions, daily life, and local cuisine of the Zaza people living in this village.
I hope you enjoy the video, happy viewing everyone :)

I am Arif Zengin. Three years ago, I set off with only 319 TL in my pocket. I had neither a plan nor a guaranteed future… But I had a dream that never faded: to travel the world. In the beginning, I couldn't afford a bicycle due to financial difficulties. So I started my journey by hitchhiking and walking.
The road first taught me patience. I sold bracelets on the streets, and at night I considered the sky my ceiling. There were times when I was hungry, cold, and lonely. In Iran, I encountered a handpan for the first time in my life. I made it my companion and started playing music on the streets. I communicated with people whose language I didn't know through music.
I hitchhiked across countries, met different cultures and people. Every encounter taught me a new lesson, every journey made me a little more myself. I share my ups and downs on this channel. Because this journey isn't just mine; it touches the stories of everyone who watches.
I never gave up on this dream. I never quit. I am grateful to everyone who has been by my side.
