It is an interesting traction elevator as the use of 4 steel guide ropes for the counterweight, and not the more common counterweight frame. I do agree, the counterweight is too close to the stairs and ought to have safety glass on the open section of the shaft. Something I noticed with the traveling cable it comes off at a corner beneath the cab, and sways a bit towards the counterweight guide ropes.

Es gibt in Wien m.W.auch immer noch viele alte Fahrstühle ohne innere Kabinentür. Kein Problem. War früher auch in Deutschland überall so.

Never seen a elevator car made out of aluminum profiles, and never seen a counterweight guided by ropes. Worrying, at least.

This is a modern version of what we used to call a “staircase job”. Dangerous parts should be safely out of reach. That counterweight looks to be a bit too close to the stairs.

Nicht einmal das kleinmaschige Metallgitter würde in Deutschland den Sicherheitsbestimmungen genügen. Dieser Aufzug müsste in Deutschland mit Schachtwänden aus Sicherheitsglas nachgerüstet werden, was der Optik sicherlich nicht schaden würde.

Sehr schöner Aufzug und gutes Video, solche Anlagen sind gar nicht mal so selten in Österreich.
Immerhin hat der Aufzug schon eine Innentüre😉.

Ich sehe hier sofort zahlreiche Mängel :) Nicht abgesicherter Schacht, nicht abgesichertes Treppenhaus, Spaltmaße der Kabineninnentür zu groß, Lautstärke, vermutlich fehlende Lichtschranke an der Kabine...
