Rich Saunders is hunting grey squirrels in summer woodland. Geared up with the BRK Brocock XR2 Recon and Rix Tourer T50 4K digital day and night scope, Rich is putting a different twist on concealment for this pest control session.
Mat Manning is putting the new BSA XT-SL to the test. The tactical PCP air rifle has been designed to deliver rugged dependability and awesome accuracy. Equipped with an excellent trigger and the famous BSA cold hammer forged barrel, it scores very highly in our review which includes power and accuracy tests.

As for the BSA XT SL I’d say you can’t blame them for having a tactical rifle in their range as they do seem popular at the moment. Finally thanks Richard for showing us even a pro can do daft things too 😉
Thank you for another great Airgun Extra. The new BSA Tactical looks a fair piece of kit. I much prefer the R12 model, as as you know, I always like a nice, natural wooden stock, and BSA R12 has produced that. That said, it looks like your BSA shares the same very impressive accuracy characteristics as the R12 CLX Pro. I'm sure it'll appeal to the tactical community.
I enjoyed your shooting footage, Rich. That's my favourite part of airgunning, being sat quietly amongst the greenery and foliage and watching nature go about its day. We are very fortunate in seeing what we do. It always amazes me how quickly, once we settle and sit still, how quickly wildlife accepts us and returns to normal. If we are squirrel hunting, it's as though the Songbirds know we there to look after and protect them.
Thank you again.
Best wishes, Ian.
The BSA..........😅 I have a r10mk2 and a r12 and I love tacticool guns to but this just looks wrong. I'm not sure how it got to production where everyone in the room just said yes that's perfect. Sorry BSA 🤷♂️😂 just my opinion
