But then the moments of 'why' appear. Swimming with tiger sharks, spending time with clownfish behind the boat, finding beautiful shells...

While l was stationed on Ascension Island. There was this ship the Maersk Ascension and one of the chilled containers broke down, all the meat inside was rancid! So it was all tipped over board. Within 20 minutes there was one tiger shark before the hour was up they were everywhere. As a BSAC Sports Diver and all of my friends we were banned from diving until the sharks had gone. It took about a week or there abouts.
You have my utmost respect for diving with them, l was worried sick that they would attack you and your friends. Keep up the great work. 💕

Lauren, this is another beautiful video. What I admire most is not only your sailing, but your enthusiasm, your sense of responsibility toward the boat, and the way you keep working hard to support yourself while following your dream.

I’m a yachtsman from Europe, far from the ocean, but I love the sea very deeply. Even though I have to travel a long way to reach it, I understand that feeling of not being able to stay away from it for too long.

I often watch your videos, and I honestly have to tip my captain’s hat to you — as a sign of respect for your skills, your courage, and your love for the ocean.

I wish you many safe miles on your sailboat, and I look forward to more inspiring videos from you and Mako. Fair winds.

Boat life is like the military life, because you make friends that feel like family, then you have to say goodbye and may never see them again. The tigers were beautiful. I can see why you like them. I saw one once up close, it scared me! Beautiful video as always.

what a rush swimming with them sharks, im sooooooooo jealous... it would be hard to leave as a guest or a buddy boat to leave you with the adventures you get to do all the time & just the great personality you have.

Tigers always look so cute and cuddly. They just have that face that makes you want to hug them.

The only sharks that really scare me are bull sharks. I grew up surfing in great white territory, so I was never really scared of even them. But bull sharks. Yeah, no thank you.
