This masterpiece was written in 13th century by a persian sufi poet Jalauddin Rumi. Later on translated in urdu. Its about the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Almost 700 years old lyrics are on infront of you ❤️

This song is not about God but the last Prophet of Allah, The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him: PBUM). The second singer, Shiraz Upal, is the composer of this song and this song was originally sung by the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (late). This is one master piece of coke studio, your subscribers rightly recommended this song to you.

Night journey of Prophet Muhammad,  thru 7 heavens to his meeting with Him , at bows length.

The thing I like about Germans is that they critically analyze everything and always open to learn about the in depth details of things

Hi from the UK, really enjoying your reactions. You seen very sincere about trying to understand and learn about different musical genres and your knowledge is impressive. This is devotional music, it is about the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) and makes reference to the Prohets Night Journey and Ascension to heaven which we Muslims believe in where he was taken by the Arch angel Gabriel to heaven and spoke directly to God (Gabriel is the same angel that visited all Prophets and Messengers and told the virgin Mary she will be giving birth to The Prophet Jesus too). It was on this journey the Prophet met many of the other Prophets such as Moses and was given the gift of the prayers which Muslims perform five times a day. The song praises the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad and lofty station he has with God. All the best my friend.

At 8:45 where you can't find the subtitles. It is sargam( Sa, Ra, Ga, Ma, Pa, Ni, Sa)in Eastern or Indian classical music which in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and Romanian), notes are named Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si (or Ti) instead of C, D, E, F, G, A, B. This notation is called solfege in the United States.

Gabriel is the arch angel who brought God's revelations and messages to various Prophets including Prophet Muhammad.

This style of music is called Qawwali, with strong tabla percussions and usually spiritual Sufi themes, and a main singer with a choir of 'hum-nawa's or voice matchers. The choir is is actually one of the famous old Qawwal families

Yes the belief in all the prophets is one pillar of Islamic belief and to be  a true muslim.

You did not put the subtitles on in the beginning, where he says "Ya Nabi" which clearly states that this all is going to be about the beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

The part where there are no subtitles is like “do re mi fa so la” it’s a combination of notes. Thats why.

I noticed you were in tears in the middle, it touched me. This KALAAM/song is very spiritual and gives you goosebumps on so many occasions. Hugs and love from UK-Pakistan.
