A young woman rescues a dog trapped in the forest and gives him a new home | A new friendship begins
---
Today I set out to harvest wild fruit and take the fresh harvest to the local market to earn a bit of extra income.
But on the way home something unexpected happened. I came across a dog trapped in the forest, on its own and unable to escape. I stopped to help it, and after rescuing it the dog kept following me as if it had chosen to stay by my side.
As the sun started going down, I decided to take it home and give it a safe place to stay. That evening I cooked dinner and we shared our first meal together.
I never expected an ordinary day of harvesting to lead to such a special meeting. From that moment a new friendship began, and this little dog might become an important part of my new life in the mountains.
