Based on his new book, Amado Gurú, we discuss a thought-provoking idea: what would an extraterrestrial intelligence think if it observed humanity today? How would they interpret our wars, our religions, our borders, our fears, and our contradictions? That is precisely one of the key themes of the book, which presents humanity from the perspective of those who might observe us from the outside.
But in this interview, we go much further.
J.J. Benítez discusses decades of research, testimonies of alleged contacts, people who claim to have encountered non-human intelligences, and the cases that have most led him to believe there may be something real behind the phenomenon.
Are they watching us?
Why might they be interested in us?
What do they think of humanity?
Have people actually spoken with them?
Are there governments that know much more than they let on?
And what do these possible intelligences know about us that we still don't?
An interview to look at the extraterrestrial phenomenon from a different perspective: not so much asking who they are, but who we are when someone is observing us from the outside.
