SAAT PHERE | Short Film

In a society where marriage is often treated as a deadline rather than a choice, Pooja, a 33-year-old independent woman, finds herself constantly surrounded by questions about “Shaadi kab karogi?” from family, friends, and the people around her. Tired of the pressure, she finally gives in and turns to a matrimonial app, hoping to find someone she can genuinely connect with.

She matches with Subodh, a seemingly simple, mature and understanding man. Their first meeting goes surprisingly well, and what begins as a typical arranged matrimonial encounter soon develops into a genuine connection.

But when Subodh introduces Pooja to the expectations of his family, things begin to take an unexpected turn. What seems like a perfectly ordinary journey towards marriage slowly reveals a side of relationships and trust that Pooja could never have imagined.

A story about marriage, societal pressure, appearances, and the dangers hidden behind seemingly perfect matches.
