U2 understood the assignment.  Heal and unite first.  Entertain second.

A halftime show that actually heals instead of divides.  What a concept in the present moment. GOAT, without question.

This was by far the greatest Superbowl halftime show of all time. Our country was together and united. It's very sad to say that some 23 years later we as a country are divided. I hope that someday soon we can come together with suffering another tragedy. Thank You U2❤

The day, four lads from Ireland, healed a nation.

Anyone here now watching this in 2026? I'm 61 years old and I remember very painfully that terrible day on 9/11. There was a woman who my family and I knew who went to our Catholic Church and school, who tragically died when the first tower was struck. She was with the Cantor-Fitzgerald group who lost many that sad day. God bless all those who lost their lives that sad day, and I thank U2 for having done this for all Americans. 🇺🇸 💔

U2 knew exactly what this country needed, and they fucking blew it out of the water one of the best rock ‘n’ roll bands out there❤❤

To date - this halftime show has never been topped.  It will always be the gold standard.

U2 always understands. They are the greatest.

Holy shit. This is incredible. Damn.

It will never be topped, the moment,  the music,  the perfect band.

I think this was the most memorable halftime show in Super Bowl history. Honestly, I couldn’t help but shed a few tears when U2 broke in with “ Where the Streets have no Name “ as all victims of 911 were lifted up on that huge banner behind them. I’m a huge fan of U2, but you don’t have to be in order to appreciate what they did that night. Unforgettable !!

I am from the UK but this still puts tears in my eyes everytime I watch it.  Best Halftime Show of all time and will never be beaten.

As an Irish man living in America - Has to be the best superbowl halftime

Still the best halftime show ever.

25 Years  goose  bumps ❤ U2

The people who died on 911 were ushered into the very presence of God minus the Hijacker’s and they reached Heaven…Where The Streets Have No Name! God Bless U2 New York First Responders and America!

Nobody else could do this moment justice

This is, and always will be the best halftime show ever.  I still to this day cannot watch “Where The Streets Have No Name” without shedding a tear. Thank you U2.

Best ever halftime show and for so many reasons! Watching this fills my heart with such nostalgia and what this country is today has tears just dripping down my cheeks. What a different time.

I’ve been a huge U2 fan for 40 years, so I’m biased, but when my buddies (who hated U2) said “WOW” during this performance I knew it was the greatest halftime show ever.
