WWE Money in the Bank 2026 is officially over, and I honestly cannot believe how disappointing this event was.
In this full WWE Money in the Bank recap and rant, I break down every match from New Orleans, including Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight, both Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Becky Lynch, and Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed.
On paper, this card had everything needed to deliver. Instead, WWE gave us questionable winners, another frustrating LA Knight loss, interference and an event that somehow made one of WWEâs most exciting concepts feel completely flat.
đ„ FULL WWE MONEY IN THE BANK 2026 RESULTS:
đ World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns def. LA Knight to retain
đȘ Womenâs Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Tiffany Stratton def. Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez & Sol Ruca
đ„ Singles Match
Oba Femi def. Bronson Reed
đ Womenâs World Championship
Liv Morgan def. Stephanie Vaquer & Becky Lynch to become NEW champion
đȘ Menâs Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Penta def. Bron Breakker, CM Punk, JeâVon Evans, Kevin Owens & Trick Williams
đ€Ź LA KNIGHT LOSES AGAIN
Roman Reigns opened the show defending the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight.
The New Orleans crowd was completely behind Knight. He survived a Spear, hit Roman with a BFT for a huge near fall, sent him through the barricade and even powerbombed him through the announce table.
And after all of that? Roman Reigns still won clean with another Spear.
This was exactly the kind of moment where WWE could have finally rewarded LA Knight after years of waiting and keeping him underneath the biggest names.
Instead, he loses again.
Afterward, 946 confronted Roman before The Usos and Solo Sikoa arrived, leading to another faction brawl. WWE
đȘ TIFFANY STRATTON WINS AGAIN
Tiffany Stratton became a two-time Money in the Bank winner after defeating Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez and Sol Ruca.
There were some wild ladder spots, but the result left me asking what WWE is trying to accomplish.
Money in the Bank should create a new star or give someone a career-changing opportunity. Instead, WWE went back to someone who has already won the briefcase before.
Why not Roxanne Perez? Why not Sol Ruca? Why not Lash Legend? Cageside Seats
đ„ OBA FEMI VS. BRONSON REED
Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed despite outside involvement from The Vision.
Oba continues to be presented as one of WWEâs biggest future stars, but once again WWE surrounded the match with interference instead of simply letting two monsters destroy each other.
The talent is there. The presentation is there. WWE just keeps making everything more complicated than it needs to be. Cageside Seats
đ LIV MORGAN WINS THE WOMENâS WORLD TITLE
Stephanie Vaquer defended against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan in a Triple Threat Match.
After Vaquer took Becky out through a table, Liv capitalized, hit Oblivion on Stephanie and pinned the champion to win the Womenâs World Championship.
Instead of allowing Stephanie Vaquer to truly establish herself as champion, WWE immediately moves the belt again and continues the same revolving-door title picture. Cageside Seats
đȘ PENTA WINS THE MENâS MONEY IN THE BANK
Bron Breakker, CM Punk, JeâVon Evans, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams and Penta fought for the briefcase in the main event.
In the end, Penta climbed the ladder and won.
I like Penta, but after months of WWE presenting Bron Breakker as the future and repeatedly teasing his rise to the top, they stalled him AGAIN.
WWE constantly tells us certain wrestlers are the future while refusing to actually pull the trigger. Fightful
đ„ WHY THIS SHOW FAILED
Money in the Bank should be one of the easiest WWE events to make exciting.
Two ladder matches. Major title matches. Roman Reigns. LA Knight. CM Punk. Bron Breakker. Oba Femi. Kevin Owens.
And somehow the show still felt underwhelming.
LA Knight lost again.
Bron Breakker got stalled again.
The womenâs briefcase went to a previous winner.
Stephanie Vaquerâs title reign ended.
And nearly every storyline still feels like it is waiting for something bigger to happen later.
That is my biggest problem with WWE in 2026.
Everything is always NEXT WEEK. Next month. Next PLE. Next WrestleMania.
At some point, something has to actually happen NOW.
đ COMMENT BELOW:
Was Money in the Bank 2026 a disappointment?
Should LA Knight have beaten Roman Reigns?
Did WWE choose the right MITB winners?
And who should Penta cash in on?
